Common side effects include nausea, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, swollen belly, and fatigue. Serious side effects may include thyroid C-cell tumors (boxed warning), pancreatitis, and severe hypoglycemia. Do not use if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
